Principal James Lee transformed our school with service learning education and initiatives. By backing multiple individual and collective service learning initiatives, Mr. Lee positively developed our school community with a focus on the motto, "Kindness Matters."
I want to acknowledge this effort and community value right from the start of the year with a substantial classroom effort--an effort that taps into students' passions and a significant need. I'd really like to find a sister-school that we could support, perhaps a school that lacks the materials, tools, and support our school enjoys.
If you work in a school like this and desire a year-long exchange of student letters and support, let me know. I can imagine an effort like this as one where students can learn about each others' communities, interests, and story while also contributing to develop optimal learning for all.
